Lori Miller, the owner and Artist of Rare Bird Art Studio is a self taught acrylic artist. Lori was born in Waterville, Maine and grew up in Winslow, Maine. She is married to the love her life and has two amazing daughters.  

Lori started her paint night company Painting with Lori in 2018 after a friend ask if she would host a paint night at their brewery. In January of 2020 Lori took the step to open a studio on Front St. in Augusta. In March of 2020 the world-wide pandemic put that on hold. In September of 2020 the opportunity of moving to Water St. Augusta came to fruition and she changed her studio name to Rare Bird Art Studio.

in July of 2023 Lori and her family moved to Riverview Florida to expand her business. She has opened a new location at 7414 Commerce street.
